Throughout my travels, my lens often migrates toward the flowers found there. What draws my attention is often the contrast provided between a dusty walkway and the vibrant colours of an orchid, or, seemingly simplicity of the pattern of a lush tropical leaf.

ORCHIDS – Perhaps one of the most available orchids, the Phalaenopsis is yet remarkable for its vibrant colours and stunning beauty. They are exotic, elegant and sophisticated.
From its humble beginnings in Victorian England to worldwide cultivation today, the Phalaenopsis Orchid is grown from Texas to Japan, from China to the Netherlands, as well as in smaller greenhouses in Canada and elsewhere.
