Lisianthus - (Eustoma grandiflorum) With its white flowers; the Lisianthus is native to Nebraska, Colorado and Texas. Today, they are widely cultivated from Europe to America and Japan and are available in a variety of colours, including rose, purple and white. Some are even double-coloured; usually purple and white.
The Lisianthus, in recent years, has grown in popularity for its attractive petals and long lasting characteristics. With its striking blooms, it is reminiscent of both roses and peonies.
